Evangelism & discipleship
House-to-house evangelism twice a week, street preaching, school visits by youth groups, seminars and community outreach.
Faith beyond our walls
To preach the Gospel to the nations.
We are locally based with an international vision: to make more disciples, plant churches and encourage transformation through faith in Jesus Christ.
Mission churches
Bringing the Gospel to village communities.
True Praise & Worship Ministries has three mission churches in villages beyond Kampala. Four pastors serve at our main church, and we have sent six trained pastors to serve in village communities.
We want to open more mission churches and prayer houses with trained ministers, and strengthen the congregations already established.
What we are doing
Faith expressed through service.
Church & pastoral training
Church planting, weekly Wednesday evening Bible study and quarterly conferences with pastors from surrounding churches.
Care for vulnerable children
We care for 20 children who have experienced homelessness. Partner schools also help some of our children access education through half bursaries.
Our longer-term plans
Building hope for the future.
Education
We hope to open our own schools in the future. For now, we work with other schools to help children continue their education.
Community support
Plans include psychological support and care services for women, children and youth, as well as income-generation projects that foster purposeful livelihoods.
Community organisation
We are preparing paperwork to establish an NGO to support our community work.
Our commitment: We seek to encourage unity, peace and reconciliation within the communities we serve.
